ASP Source Community board

Why ASP  and not ASP.NET or PHP.

Well, I always loved ASP, ASP.NET too, but Classic ASP is always present in my mind for its semplicity and make modding; I did many mods MegaBBS asp software some years ago,. In add there is a great semplicity of use of this technology as PHP as well. ASP in add have a further advantage over PHP(even some disvantages), it is perfectly fitted for Access. Some years ago I found o0mBBS forum software by David Crosbie that is based on It so I made a improvement of this board and adapted this to the CMS(some other CMS use this forum software, example OpenASP) but I made really a dramatic improvement and builded this CMS. It really simple to install cause Access and have strong features, so Classic ASP is still a viable solution to make CMS although many believe such outdated technology, but actually it has many adantantages nowadays on PHP & ASP.NET
